About Me
Hi, I am Emma Curry. I am graduating in May 2026 from George Washington University with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication and a minor in Marketing. I am passionate about digital storytelling, post-production video editing, and creating engaging media content across different platforms.
Through my coursework and hands-on projects, I have gained experience producing multimedia content including podcasts, short documentaries, and digital videos. I enjoy the process of turning raw footage into a compelling story through editing, pacing, and structure. One of my recent projects includes a mini documentary on Alpha-Gal Syndrome, which I independently filmed, interviewed, and edited from start to finish.
Outside of media, I am a Division I athlete on the women’s lacrosse team at George Washington. Balancing athletics with academics has strengthened my time management, collaboration, and ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments. I am excited to continue developing my skills in post-production and content creation while contributing to creative teams in the media and sports industries.
